Since 1970, the Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education (CSSHE) has supported the higher education community in research, policy, study, and practice. The CSSHE Board of Directors believed that the 50 year milestone was an ideal time to reflect on our past successes and plan for our future. We embarked on a collective and collaborative project to develop a five-year strategic plan.  Through an open consultation process with CSSHE members, an environmental scan of the Canadian higher education landscape, and an intensive drafting and revising process, the 2020-2025 Strategic Plan was created. The Plan was distributed to CSSHE members and discussed at the June 2020 Annual General Meeting; a motion to ratify this plan was passed at the AGM. This concise four page document highlights CSSHE’s Vision, Mission and Values and identifies three goals that are each supported by several objectives designed to focus the efforts in achieving each goal.
